App

Diagnosis Pad does not track or log your usage, nor does it use any third-party tools to collect or send your data.

All AI processing happens offline and on your device. No data is sent to online servers.

Your data is stored locally on device. If iCloud backup is enabled in the Settings app, the data can also be backed up to your Apple account.

The Healthdirect.gov.au, nih.gov and NHS.uk links allow you to explicity launch a search query to those respective websites. No data is sent to our servers.

The share feature allows you to explicity share your session data. This is shared directly by you, the operating system and supported destinations. No data is sent to our servers.

The feedback feature allows you to directly share data with us for analysis. You can review and edit all data before submitting, and no extra information will be transmitted.

Microphone access is requested only for the operation of transcription.

Subscriptions require an online check with Apple at least once every subscription renewal period. No personal data is sent for this check.

Apple may provide anonymised crash logs and diagnostic information if you have this feature enabled in the Settings app on your device.

Website

Your web browser automatically sends us (and we may retain) information such as:

  • Internet Protocol address of the computer you are using.
  • Type of browser software and operating system you are using.
  • Date and time you access our site.
  • The Internet address of the site from which you linked directly to our site.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics

We use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of this site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this site. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve this site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this site, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Although Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use (as amended for government websites) and the Google Privacy Policy. You can prevent Google Analytics from recognising you on return visits to this site by disabling cookies on your browser.
